WE SHOW THE WORLD IN MINIATURE!
Far from the hubbub of large cities, among the flowery Masurian meadows and dense forests, the Miniature Park of the Warmian and Masurian Region, which, as the only one in Poland, presents the miniatures of the most beautiful and interesting and often not too well-known monuments of both regions is hidden.
On May 1st, 2010 the Miniature Park of the Warmian and Masurian Region started the second season, which will last until the end of October. This year, several new miniatures of historical buildings from the North-East region of Poland, and additionally six historic picnics, which give us more familiarity with the period starting from early Meddle Ages to World War II wait for the visitors.
The miniatures of, among others, the palace in Drogosze, sluice on the Masurian Channel, castles in Reszel, Lidzbark Warmiński and Nidzica, Boyen Fortress, basilica in Święta Lipka, Olsztyn High Gate, the tomb of the Farenheid family in Rapa or the Bismarck Tower in Mrągowo, which will stand next to the present miniatures including the railway flyover in Stańczyki, Masurian hut, palace in Sztynort and windmill in Bęsia are a novelty in the 2010 season.
